The Data Science for Social Good Conference is being organized by the Center for Data Science and Public Policy at the University of Chicago.  We are also the organizers for the Data Science for Social Good Fellowship and our focus is on doing applied data science for public policy and social problems. Our mission is to conduct research in data science and public policy, work on applied research projects with government and non-profit partners to solve high-impact social problems, and create scalable, data-driven systems for improving policy areas such as public health, education, public safety, criminal justice, and economic development.
